While I firmly believe baking is a cornerstone of one’s life, my story starts with someone very special to me. My great granny Brenda, or Mamaw Granny as all her grandchildren call her, was my reason for pursuing my dream in the sweet treat business.

While Granny and I have always had a hard time when it came to being with one another, every moment I have spent with her is more precious than the last. Although my family may have picked up different traits like music and other craftsmanship, I’m happy to say I inherited my Granny’s cooking skills.

My Granny’s food is what always brought my family together. Whether it was for the holidays or celebrating birthdays, her cooking always had a way of bringing people closer. When I showed interest in this trait, she didn’t hesitate to share all her tricks and methods for making a good, hearty meal.

While my Granny is my main reason for starting this operation, I cannot give her all the credit. My mommy, Mamaws, and additional family members gave me from a young age the passion to spread joy and kindness to the world, and the way they showed me to do that is through my baking.

So now, while I may still be growing in this, I’d like to share just a pinch of what these wonderful women in my life have taught me. Enjoy !
